Luni dimineaţa, pe Strada Cimitirului din orăşelul Luna de Jos, va avea loc deschiderea unui nou magazin, cu o denumire insolită: Măcelăria Kennedy. În jurul acestui eveniment, pus la punct în cele mai mici detalii, se derulează un carusel de întâmplări năucitoare, petrecute timp de trei zile şi trei nopţi, înainte de inaugurare, cu personaje simpatice, grave şi totodată pline de umor, cu îngeri durdulii, licurici, drăcuşori roşii, ţânţari vampirici şi berze costelive visând la o ţară unde plouă cu broaşte. O lume care se dezlănţuie sub efectele tandre ale încălzirii globale şi ale eclipsei totale de soare. Un roman burlesc, un roman comic, atins pe alocuri de dramatism, cu pagini care provoacă hohote de râs, dar şi cu poveşti de dragoste de o poetică senzualitate. „Dar cine o fi Kennedy, vreun măcelar celebru?”, întreabă, hamletian, unii locuitori din Luna de Jos. Imuni la marile probleme ale omenirii, îngerii ridică, indiferenţi şi candizi, din umeri...

Excellent novel, extremely well written in Romanian. Through vivid descriptions the humor comes through making for a very entertaining read. Highly recommended for anyone who understands and reads Romanian.
