Martha Bishop is an inquisitive former classroom teacher and school librarian whose curiosity has helped her to develop her own inner strengths and abilities. She states, “Rafe is able to realize that there are some talents which he will never possess, but he can enjoy the skills of those who do. He also learns that he has skills of his own that are just as important in a different way. Those are lessons which I have had to learn also.”
