About the author
Dr.phil. Rainer Atzbach ist Assistant Professor an der Abteilung für Mittelalter- und Renaissancearchäologie der Universität Aarhus. Er ist einer der bekanntesten deutschsprachigen Burgenforscher in Europa, zuletzt leitete er die Ausstellung "Burg und Herrschaft" im Deutschen Historischen Museum, Berlin.
