This book is as addictive as a product in said book. Dani is a brilliantly geneticist who produces a highly addictive drug called Everlife, meant to none other than, prolong life. The effects are much more disastrous than she ever imagined. It created a dystopian world. There is hope but for one MAJOR snag. Dani did produce an antidote alongside Everlife, however, she was hit on the head, hard and has amnesia. The book takes on a 50 First Dates vibe from there but in a much more enjoyable way. Thank you Rebecca. Every morning when Dani wakes up, she's forgotten everything from the previous day. Repeatedly. During this trying time, she is cared for by her siblings, her husband and his best friend. It's a very intriguing book with twists and a betrayal i never saw coming. Rebecca Hefner knows how to write captivating books readers love no matter the genre. Be it time travel, paranormal and now, what i call and you may too, dystopian. I can't wait until the next book.

Rebecca is a one click author for me. I have loved everything I’ve read that’s written by her. This one is my favorite so far. I loved the whole 50 first dates meets a post apocalyptic world. Maverick is my hero. I love this man. In ways that I cannot describe the patience, the caring how he got through dealing with the love of his life forgetting him every day was just heartbreaking and beautiful and at times quite funny. The start of the Sendaxa Chronicles, World-renowned geneticist Danica Lawson has no recollection of what she has done as her memory is gone after an attack, she does not even recognize her soldier husband Maverick. The story is well written with a very good storyline that held my interest, with its drama, mystery, twists, turns and finding her missing past. the story is well worth reading. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
