Slow beginning it took a while to get into it. This book started off very slow for me and took me a while to get into. Although it was a novella it felt ages long. Overall I did enjoy the story but was left wanting more details and excitement. The love story was a cute story but also very predictable. When I started the book I felt as though I was reading a juvenile fiction book until the spice was involved solely based on the vocabulary used throughout the book. It was an easy read.

A quick read. Its about Kalini and Alrec. Not allow to be together, what will they do to? Folow their struggles as they try to get ther happily ever after. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

USA Today bestselling author Rebecca Hefner grew up in Western NC and now calls the Hudson River of NYC home. In her youth, she would sneak into her mother’s bedroom and read the romance novels stashed on the bookshelf, cementing her love of HEAs.
