There is danger and thrills galore in the final Blood Brothers book and that’s not to mention the turbulent romance. Denver is confronted with the past when Noni a past romantic interest brings attention to their connection and puts herself in the cross hairs of the brothers’ enemies. Denver and Noni are strong, well defined characters that reach and grab readers by the heart strings as they battle with lots of emotional turmoil and dangerous encounters with some pretty nasty characters from both of their pasts. The romance is fiery hot with lots of passion and conflict which had me rallying behind the characters as they struggled to find a happy ending to their troubles. Noni needs help with a daring task that makes her a target for some dangerous gang members and Denver, along with his blood brothers are still trying to stop the evil doctor that totally screwed with their lives. Noni and Denver’s life become one thrilling adventure as readers become caught up in their story when one hazardous and adrenaline pumping conflict after another keeps the characters on the run. This fast paced and electrifying conclusion is chock full of hot and hunky men as the brothers are joined by the brothers from the Sin Brothers series as they come together to try to end the vile doctor and the despicable sheriff’s reign of terror. There was definitely not way for me put this story down as I was enthralled with the danger and the gravity to their situation from beginning to end. The Sin Brothers is a favorite series of mine and now the Blood Brothers has become equally as loved and while I hate to see it end, I am quite pleased with the ending. I can’t wait to find out what Rebecca Zanetti has in store for us next.

Gaele Hi
AudioBook Review Stars: 5 Narration: 5 Story: 5 Denver walked away over a year ago – no explanations, no reasons. And we do get to see just why he left, and what is behind his silence and his skills, and the secrets he hides away. He’s quietly living his life trying to ferret out answers and find the miscreants who tampered with he and his brothers, and staying away from temptation until he can find those answers and a fix are paramount. He won’t put anyone in danger because of who and what he is. But, sometimes situations mean you have to step in and up and face those fears. Nomi isn’t worried about where Denver went or why – she just needs to find him to help her grab her best friend’s daughter away from the gang-banging drug dealer that is her father. She’s determined to find the baby and take her away from a desperate situation, but with an inferior PI providing dead end leads -she’s gotten nowhere and is quickly reaching desperate. Perhaps Denver could help – so she sets out on a plan to draw his attention – posting photos of them everywhere she can think of, in the hopes that he’ll come back. Unfortunately – he’s not the only one noticing the photos, or bringing Nomi and the little girl she desperately wants to save into more danger. Soon the threats increase – with Denver’s return both the gang hunting Nomi and the people responsible for the ‘management’ of Denver and his brothers close in, and the danger to them all is far beyond anything anyone could have expected. In between running about (or away) and searching, we hear more from Denver and about his story, as the connection between he and Nomi heats up to flash-point levels. Bringing everyone into the story to help fix the HEA’s for Ryker and Heath, as we learn more about the experiments, their challenges and the bond that holds the brothers together, and their women to stand at their sides. Full of action and danger, we also get most of the answers to questions that have danced about in our brains since the first introduction, and leaves just a large enough opening for the series to continue should there be inspiration. Narration for the story (and series) is provided by Karen White, and her understanding of the story and the characters comes through with each installment. Character voices are unique and distinct, she adds malice to the ‘baddies’ without overplaying the threat, and gives the other emotions of fear, determination, anger and even relief a clear field in which to play. There is a clear sense of the author’s intentions in the performance, as White is wholly familiar with Zanetti’s work, that history must add to her performance as well, making for a lovely experience and sure to get your heart racing. I received an AudioBook copy of the title from Hachette Audio for purpose of honest review. I was not compensated for this review, all conclusions are my own responsibility.
