Susan Narveson was born in Ohio to parents whose names are engraved on the Ellis Island Immigration Wall. Raised in Kentucky, she pursued a Masters Degree in Music from University of Iowa and a Masters Degree in Counseling from Winona State University. She has experience as a teacher, counselor, business owner and the founder of a Suzuki music program in Rochester, Minnesota. She continues to be an avid traveler, some as sailing adventures and is a member of the Dakota Valley Symphony and the Civil Air Patrol. Her years of journaling evolved into writing free verse poetry. She lives by the St Croix river in Prescott, Wisconsin and enjoys visits with family and friends.
