Bets Davies has degrees from the University of Michigan, Mills College, and the University of Michigan again—this time staying in Ann Arbor, Michigan to live. She enjoys mixing together genres and sub-genres. She does the same with dancing. She lives with a protective macaw, a rabbit killing cat, an empathetic pit bull, and sneaky hound mutt. At the moment she is avoiding animal shelters and buying children’s toys instead. When not writing, she draws, and tries to remember how to play the bassoon.
