The character Jim Dugan is 33 years old and buying a large home in Tubac Arizona about forty miles south of Tucson and close to the Mexican border. During this time he meets and falls in love with a young Artiest from the University of Arizona. The FBI has always viewed Jim as a high end criminal but has never caught him at anything illegal. Jim in this story stumbles across a huge conspiracy of criminals stealing billions of dollars to use in the purchase the election of not only the Congress of our country but also the Presidency.

The characters and the path they take through the novel is what has brought the most joy to it's readers.

About the author

James L. Connolly has lived most of his life in and around Tucson Arizona. He has been married for over fifty years and he and his wife Judy have three daughters and eight grand children. Connolly worked in the new car business for over thirty years plus owned and operated bars and nightclubs along with other enterprises. His experience in Real Estate, Nightclubs, and the criminal justice system and the people he has met has given him good bases for the writing of this novel. After retiring, he and Judy moved to Dallas, Oregon and he began painting and became interested in writing. Red White and Gold is the forth novel he has written and has had published by AuthorHouse. The first three novels are "The pawn in the game," "Have you seen her dressed in white" and "The new beginning."
