Once again, Reese Ryan, did not disappoint. I received an ARC through Booksprout for my honest review. First let me start by saying that I love second chance novels. Darius and Audra are both very driven people with a history of a grad school romance that ended badly. Fast forward to a chance meeting while they are both in a small town in Texas on business. They clearly still have feelings for each other and I love the fact that Audra is a free thinker with piercings, that greatly intrigue and attract Darius. When Darius finds out that the business he thought he was in Royal to handle becomes personal, he decides to hang around and spend some time with his newly discovered siblings. There second chance at romance is prodded along by no other than Sophie, Darius’s sister. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and highly recommend it. This was my first in the TCC series but it has piqued my interest and I plan to delve deeper in to the series.

This thrill story will keep you glued to the story from start to finish. Darius and Audra were in a relationship before but separated. Now they are brought back together by Darius sister when Audra is asked to do a design for his sister. They end up staying next door to each other. Will this spark a rekindling of the love they had before that can lead to happily ever after. This story does not leave you hanging and Darius is definitely one alpha hulk you will love reading about. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Wow another great read from Reese Ryan. Definitely a page turner, once I started I couldn't stop. The chemistry and sparks between Darius and Audra were instant. Fear of rejection on his part and hurt on her part, put both Darius and Audra in a place to almost loose an opportunity to rekindle a love they both thought was dead. It's nothing like life making you realize that you aren't over the man or woman that you thought you were five years prior. He hated to see other men talking to her and she hated to see other women giving her attention. Both driven to succeed, Darius because of his fear of rejection and Audra to prove she didn't need her parents wealth or the stuck-up Cash who would do just about anything to make her come back to him, until she threaten him with telling her father and calling the police on him if he contacted her again. Although Darius and Audra weren't together once their dreams started to be a reality, they got to be a major part in each of them going forward, Audra even inspired Darius to make a swim suit line.
