This is book # 5 of the Bourbon Brothers and Zora the brothers only sister gets her chance at romance. Reese’s books are awesome their just too short, they draw you in and keep your there. There are everyday live situations, character are great, romance is steamy and the storyline is oh so good. Zora Abbott and Dallas Hamilton have been BBFs since kindergarten, that a long time. Zora is vying for the CEO position at King’s Finest and in the running with her brothers. Dallas and Zora are always there for each other. Whenever one needs a date, they are there to escort the other. Now that’s some kind of friendship. Dallas and Zora have been crushing on each other, everyone sees it knows that one day they will be Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Hamilton. Zora and Dallas are in Vegas for the weekend celebrating an award that Dallas has won and her birthday. Just image being in Vegas a city where there’s so much entertainment, casinos, fun and staying awake 24 hours. To their surprise they wake in bed together not remembering the night before but find themselves married. Dallas doesn’t to end the marriage. He wants Zora in his life for more than just a friend. When the happy couple returns home how will they be received, will Zora be the next CEO of King’s Finest, will Dallas get his happily ever after, will Zora get the family she wants. All are good questions but you’ll have to read the book to find out. You will enjoy Dallas and Zora waking up married. I recommend "Waking Up Married" It was an awesome.

4⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Style: Multicultural / Interracial Romance Story: 4/5 Enjoyment: 4/5 Dark Level: 0/5 Sexual Level: GOOD Triggers: No Violence: No Male: Sexy & Lovable Series: Book 5 Pages: loc. 2746 Audio: N/A Kindle Unlimited: No STORY: Appealing characters and a sweet story. I normally don’t do friends to lovers because it’s not believable if not done correctly, but this one was done well. Dallas’ and Zora’s friends to lovers are very much believable. Dallas, was just so sweet, adorable and sexy all rolled into one. I look forward to his pov chapters more than Zora’s sometimes. Zora is a strong character with always needing to prove a point with so many brothers. I like that she showed vulnerability and uncertainty with Dallas because we get to see Dallas at work convincing Zora. I just have one question though, where can I buy some of those brownies? I’m planning a trip to Vegas too hahah. CHEMISTRY: Dallas and Zora had good chemistry and I enjoyed watching their relationship evolve. SECONDARY CHARACTERS I have not read this series prior to this, but Zora’s brothers sounds yummy. After reading Zora’s story, I am interested in reading Blake’s story. Cole seems interesting as well. Overall, if you are familiar with the harlequin desire formula, then you will know what to expect. This was a light read for me and I liked it. ***I don’t equate these stories to real life. It’s about personal taste and what you would or want to tolerate with the books you read. I know we all have different opinions and preferences with what we read and hope this review was helpful. Childhood friends Dallas and Zora are enjoying Las Vegas together while Dallas received as prestigious award. Neither expects to get blindsided by a not-so-well chosen basket of congratulatory goodies, and wake up the next morning married. Waking Up Married is a compulsively readable romance novel. I picked it up and was immediately pulled into the story. Zora is a delightful heroine, and Dallas is her perfect hero. It’s clear to the reader from very, very early in the story that Dallas is totally in love with his friend-since-childhood, and that he knows it all too well. It’s just a fun, emotionally delightful read from there to its romantically fulfilling ending. I especially enjoyed the way Ryan handles the surprise wedding, the family drama around Zora’s marriage and Dallas’s support of her throughout everything. Zora’s just a great character from beginning to end, and you really root for her (and Dallas’s) happy ending. Being the fifth book in the Bourbon Brothers series there are a lot of secondary characters (family members) going around, and some ongoing business drama for Zora, but none of it needs explanation or feels intrusive. Waking Up Married is a fabulous read. Definitely recommended if you’re a fan of contemporary romance, or category romance!
