Reflections in Words is a compilation of poetry from my experiences around the world, short stories I have written, & quotes that may help in troubled times, a collection as I reflect on my life over the years. These are the thoughts, dreams, & fantasies I wish to share with you the reader. It is my sincerest hope that it will touch your heart, make you laugh, and even make your eyes tear up on occasion. About the author
Richard Allen Saare, was born in December 1953, in Santa Rosa California. Impressions of the sixties greatly influenced his life. He joined the Coast Guard during the Viet Nam Conflict and served six years as a main propulsion engineer on search and rescue craft. He then re-enlisted in the U.S. Navy for another four years to see the world and that he did.
Mr. Saare has always loved motorcycles, muscle cars, sailing ships. He currently lives in Klamath Falls Oregon and dreams of going around the world on a Square Rigger one-day!
