This work by Paul McLean is a deep weekly devotional that is both introspective and interactive. It is a weekly study as opposed to a daily reading in order to involve the reader on a more contemplative journey into focused biblical issues. Each chapter touches on insights and personal experiences McLean has encountered in his work as a probation officer and from his involvement in prison ministry. He discovered that by witnessing the transforming power of Jesus Christ in the lives of criminal offenders, he was changed and shaped by God for a higher purpose.

Paul McLean serves as team leader/federal probationand pretrial services officer for the U.S. DistrictCourt. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in SocialWork from the University of Montana (1983) anda Masters Degree in Special Education: CommunityCounseling from Montana State University - Billings(2000). His work in the field of corrections exceedstwenty-eight years. He has been intimately involvedin prison ministry since 2003 and has served on theMontana State Board of TEAM Mentoring sincethat time.
