Refusal, Transition and Post-apartheid Law under editorship of professor Karin van Marle is indeed long overdue. Karin van Marle teaches legal philosophy and related subjects on undergraduate and postgraduate level at the University of Pretoria. She is presently the head of the Department of Legal History, Comparative Law and Legal Philosophy. Her research includes aspects of critical legal theory, feminist theory with a particular focus on transformation and the 'becoming' of a post-apartheid jurisprudence.
