Vornehmlich problemorientiert steht dabei vor allem der erste Aspekt – die R e g l e m e n t i e r u n g der Sexualität – im Vordergrund, die allgemeinen Bedingungen unter denen Sexualität zu jener Zeit stattfindet. Problemorientiert deshalb, weil es nicht um isolierte Faktizität, sondern um Darstellung von Tendenzen im Kontext einer spezifischen gesellschaftlichen Ordnung mit dem Versuch einer Bewertung geht – keinesfalls zufällig ist in der Fragestellung von »reglementierter S e x u a l i t ä t« und nicht bloß der Prostitution die Rede.
