Renee Ramsey Whitaker lives in North Carolina and has been an educator and counselor for thirty-three years. She earned her Master’s degree in Counseling from Wake Forest University and, for three years, she worked as a PRN therapist at a behavioral health hospital. Those years crystallized her thinking about how many people drag their unhealthy baggage behind them throughout life, while others put down the load and move on toward success. She believes that the difference between someone who is happy and healthy and someone who is not is related, or even dictated by his or her thought process. She became interested in studying the emotional guidance system which led her on a spiritual voyage.
