The Knowing the Bible series is a resource designed to help Bible readers better understand and apply God's Word. These 12-week studies lead participants through books of the Bible and are made up of four basic components: (1) Reflection questions help readers engage the text at a deeper level; (2) "Gospel Glimpses" highlight the gospel of grace throughout each book; (3) "Whole-Bible Connections" show how any given passage connects to the Bible's overarching story of redemption, culminating in Christ; and (4) "Theological Soundings" identify how historic orthodox doctrines are taught or reinforced throughout Scripture. With contributions from an array of influential pastors and church leaders, these gospel-centered studies will help Christians see and cherish the message of God's grace on each and every page of the Bible.

The book of Revelation has been a source of both great encouragement and confusion to Christians throughout the centuries. While offering sure hope about the future to Christians, it nevertheless seems mysterious to many. In this accessible study, Stephen Witmer helps Christians understand and appreciate the core message of Revelation: Jesus Christ has already defeated Satan, sin, and death on our behalf, and we can have great confidence in the future.

Stephen Witmer (PhD, University of Cambridge) serves as the lead pastor of Pepperell Christian Fellowship in Pepperell, Massachusetts, and teaches New Testament at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He helps lead Small Town Summits, which partners with the Gospel Coalition New England to serve small town churches and pastors. He is the author of Eternity Changes Everything and Revelation in Crossway's Knowing the Bible series. Stephen and his wife, Emma, have three young children.
