About this ebook

When a female military officer is found murdered under an overpass in the city of Tampa, the police chief assigns the case to the best. Detective Lieutenant Dan Burns, a former air force commando and CIA officer, now heads the Special Investigative Unit for the Tampa Police. Dan and his unit detectives work to solve the case, with help from a beautiful assistant district attorney and an air force OSI agent working to get answers for the air force about the crime. Intrigue and danger lay ahead in the city streets and the local air force base, which are all caught in the web of a war between the Russian Mafia and the local organized criminals, fighting for control of the drug and vice trade. Unknown to Dan, the detectives and the case leads to a secret society, which is using the Russian Mafia, hitmen, rouge military officers, and a corrupt CIA official to carry out a deadly plot.
