I am nearly 18 years-old and bought this book because I thought that it would teach me how to live/manage life as an adult (externally). Instead, it focuses too much on internal factors. I am very disappointed since there are other wisdom books that I have read and I prefer them over this one. & not just that, there are many words that I cannot even comprehend. If the writer is going to call his book "how to be an adult", he should target his audience towards 16-20 year-olds. I regret having bought this.

No one is as emotionally open and understanding and eloquent as Mr. Richo.
Thanks isn't really good enough, but that is what I have to offer at the
moment.

Should be required reading, David Richo condenses so much insight into this compact book, you won't know what to do with the amount of perspective you gain from reading it. Handbook for life.
