Megan is facing more than a few re-sets in her life. a cheating, manipulative ex leaves her with a broken engagement, battered trusts and self esteem, and a realization just how manipulative her was. her post nursing job efforts have crashed, pretty literally- more than once. can her efforts to help a new friend help her sort things out- or will they just make her jailed or dead? at least giant dog Fred lives her - hesven help her!

I've read several books written by Rimmy London; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books. This is the third book in the Megan Henny Cozy Mysteries Series; it is a stand-alone book. The story is about Megan & Santiago; he calls her from jail. Now she has to figure out what happened to prove his innocence. I received a free copy of this book via booksprout and I’m voluntarily leaving a review.

I love this series although it is dramatically different than the other mysteries from Ms. London. Fred is my favorite character although Megan, Kenneth, Santiago and the townspeople are great as well. This well written, well plotted mystery has Santiago communicating in code, a precious necklace, a dognapped Fred and more motives and clues than you can imagine. You do not want to miss out on all this excitement!
