Walter was member of the Sacramento Democratic County Central Committee for five years. “Unless we can get beyond 5000 followers and get into the hundreds of thousands we will have to work within the Democratic Party. It may be dirty work, but that’s where the Left is going to be. I don’t know why we can’t keep our own identify that way, and still oppose all the things that we ought to oppose.”
