4 stars — This was a solid prequel novella! I will admit that I was pretty confused about the timeline and how it meshed with what I learned from Perry in book 1, but oh well. Roar was pretty easy to love. Sure he was headstrong, and didn’t always think before he acted. But you could truly feel his love for both Liv and Perry. And in general I really believed that he wanted whatever Liv wanted. But I also think he hasn’t really given himself time to think about who he is without Liv and Pe
