Noel Hastings walked through the woods beside the man she fell in love with, Wes, a bear shifter. She lived in a very special community. Bull Creek was home to a large family of shifters, vampires, and humans, each seeking peace and tranquility under the leadership of the alpha, Dimitri Everest, who made sure that everyone living there followed the rules. Noel had run from her hometown, looking for answers about the paranormal world that had scared her. And when she got here, she fell in love. Yet she refused to become Wes’ mate yet, even though his bear was getting harder for him to control from wanting to bond with her. She really did want him to claim her, to mark her, but she couldn’t yet and she couldn’t tell him the reason. She had things back home to take care of, she said, but she was not ready yet – because back home, there was someone else she also loved! This is an exciting read because the twists and turns start to quickly pile on and keep the reader avidly reading on to see what happens next! It’s a great story line, and the characters are likable and well presented. There is excitement headed Noel’s way from the “other guy” she ran from. You will not want to miss what happens next!

Noel ran from Jake when she learned his secret she took off to Bull Creek to learn more about shifters while there she meets Wes Stapleton. She may have fallen in love with him but she still loves Jake as well When danger comes after her who will keep her safe There are plenty of twists and turns in this book making it a great fun read I thoroughly enjoyed it
