About the author

Robert G. Marx, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City and Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University.

Grethe Mykleburst, PT, PhD, practices at the Norwegian Olympic Sports Centre as a specialist in Sports Physiotherapy in Oslo, Norway. She is an associate professor at the Oslo Sports Trauma Research Center at the Norwegian School of Sports Sciences.
