Defender:

I loved these books. The first one made me feel like I was in an rpg but just following along. Getting to know the characters, the twists and turns, the setting, all of it kept me reading. The way these end and begin kills me,it's like I want to know eactly what is going on but I'm pulled away into another part of the main characters life. My ONLY qualm is having to pay for the 4th,5th,6th and 7th books. Normally not an issue, but losing a job makes it difficult to pay the bills as it is, and so after reading book 3 I sat for hours contemplating if I could afford just 1 more book..... I know that will turn into all the rest, and I'm sure they're worth it, if not worth even more money. Absolutely read all 3, the story is superb.

I'm not much for medieval fiction but I could not put this trilogy down as much as I would have liked. Well written from start to finish, the story kept my attention as it moved along, alternating explosive action, epic battles & moments of peace in between. What I mean to say is that no matter which part of the story I was at, I could not put it down because every single point was written to keep one mesmerized! I highly recommend it & will definitely continue to read to the epic conclusion of this story!
