About the author
Robert Jackson Bennett wurde 1984 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, geboren, wuchs aber in Texas auf. Er studierte in Austin, wo er auch heute noch mit seiner Frau und seinem Sohn lebt. Seine Romane haben bereits zahlreiche Preise gewonnen, darunter zweimal den begehrten Shirley Jackson Award in der Kategorie ‚Bester Roman‘. Mit Die Stadt der tausend Treppen war er für den Locus Award und den World Fantasy Award nominiert.
