"An excellent writer." —True Crime Book Reviews

Anything For Love

When nineteen-year-old Steven "Boston" Colver set eyes on beautiful young Tylar Witt, the sparks between them could not be denied. It didn't matter that she was only fourteen. The two saw their love written in the stars. All they wanted was to spend every moment in each other's arms.

When Tylar's concerned mother, Joanne Witt, tried to come between them, her efforts only fueled the wild passions of two California teens who saw themselves as a modern-day Romeo and Juliet, trapped in a heartless world. Boston and Tylar would prove their love by any means necessary. They would allow no one to stand in their way. And they made a promise to stay together—until death and beyond. . .

OK but perhaps a bit more research or perhaps interviewing the two murderers would have given a more definitive idea of who actually did what. There is no doubt one of them failed to tell the truth in court proceedings but I am still unable to suggest which of the two actually commited the murder. However I have no issues with them both being guilty because there is little doubt that no matter who actually did the stabbing, both then did things to cover their crime. Good for a quick read but could have been just that little better.

About the author

Robert Scott discovered that true-crime writing is incredibly interesting, as "You have to be part journalist, part detective and part analytical writer for the true crime market." Robert's books have detailed the lives of killers and victims, police detectives and FBI agents—from California to Iowa, from the Canadian border to the Mexican border. They've depicted stories from a murderous male/female team in the High Sierras to a psychopathic killer on the mean streets of Los Angeles. They've also told the stories of victims, from an exotic dancer, to a beautiful but naive college girl, to a loving and vulnerable ranch wife. "The lives of the victims, and the detectives who brought them justice, are vitally important in these stories," Robert said. "I absolutely believe in a comment related to me by an Assistant United States Attorney, 'To the living we owe respect, to the dead we owe the truth.'" Robert is currently working on true crime books set in Oregon and Northern California. Robert has been on many television shows on Discovery ID, A&E, E!, and Tru TV.
