Este libro es un intento breve y una incompleta exposición sobre el problema del origen y comunicación de los llamados “objetos” inconscientes o del pensamiento inconciente. Se aborda además el papel que representa la lógica en el pensar matemático mismo y se hacen consideraciones críticas sobre los psicoanalistas que abordaron el pensamiento matemático como I. Hermann, M. Bion, Matte-Blanco y Lacan. Una de las ideas centrales es, pues, la de saber cómo se piensa el pensamiento consciente y cómo se busca legitimar lo que para el psicoanálisis constituye su aspecto más complejo: el del pensamiento inconsciente en cada esfuerzo de construcción desde el devenir consciente.
