I like how this story is developing at the end of the second book of the series. I don't really understand the reason for the amount of homosexual Content in this book or the necessity for it. To be honest it actually makes me uncomfortable But not enough to keep me from wanting to read the next installment in this series

Loved this book! Waited till the second in this series to write a review, however Robin Hobb has impressed me with other series-- an EXCELLENT writer, who knows when to withhold mystery, and JUST WHEN to reveal what a reader needs to know to keep them not only hooked, but ready for the next outstanding revelation. Amazing. Entirely recommend this series!!!

There was so much homosexual romance it was hard to read, and i had to skip several pages to refrain from vomiting. It ruined a decent story.
