Anyone going to Basic Training, remember a few things: your recruiter is worse than a car salesman so dont trust him, only trust whats in writting; take everything 15 min at a time it'll be over before you know it; it takes 180 active duty to be considered a veteran or it didnt count (VA & DOD standard); dont buy those expensive tshirts they try to sell youin basic, its waste of money; & volunteer for everything. And stick to your General Orders. Knew a guy that denied a 4-star general entry into a building because he forgot his id. The general went back to car, opposite end of parking lot, showed id, and promoted that soldier on the spot for doing his job. If all else fails, get your sergeant or officer involved. And have fun. Haha.
