Not a bad story, however it praises the gung-ho attitude of most Americans, despite the trail of destruction and dead bodies left behind. I personally don't find that sort of attitude praiseworthy.

Great adventure! Jack Mars keeps you on the edge of your seat while he takes you through many thrilling conquests to reach his final target. You won’t be able to put it down.

Mr. Mars has done it again in creating a new series, Troy Stark. Much like his heroes in the Luke Stone and Agent Zero series, Stark seems to take on seemingly impossible tasks and turns them into successes. Stark is a SEAL who has participated in special operations, CIA related situations and black ops. Without a home of his own, he lives with his mother and is surrounded by his NYPD and NYFD siblings. Suspense, non-stop action and twists and turns make up this first book in the new series. Stark’s take charge and no holds barred attitude helps him track down terrorists threatening to release deadly slaughterbots. He has a female accomplice in the form of Interpol Agent DuBois. Reluctant at first to think and act outside the lines, she becomes a capable sidekick to Stark. As stated in the book, “... something about Troy Stark made people take risks.” I’m looking forward to the next installment in this series. I received an ARC for my honest opinion.
