I was pleasantly surprised at how easy this book was to read. I could almost hear the aussie scent dripping from the page, and yet in a tactful way. It has made me more interested in australian colonial history.

A fantastic read of early Australia. The story flows as though it was a personal account, not fiction. Never a slow page, highly recommend.
