His works have appeared in Harper’s, the New Yorker, and the Atlantic Monthly, as well as The Best American Short Stories, The Norton Anthology of Short Fiction, and other journals and anthologies; they have been performed on NPR’s “This American Life” and “Selected Shorts.”
