About this ebook

Lady Gregory discovers that all the weeks she’s spent casting spells to create a magical portal that she can use to rescue Lily from Hades have all been for naught. In the dead of night, her nineteen-year-old adopted daughter Rose snuck behind her back and already traveled through the door before it was complete.

Now in a desperate struggle to save Rose from the dangers that exist on the other side, Lady Gregory and Charles set out to find Rose and bring her back home to safety.

But when a secret from Lady Gregory’s past comes to light, all that she has worked for hangs in the balance. Can Lady Gregory save Rose, escape the clutches of a new enemy, and keep her romance alive with Charles before it’s too late?

Set in the 1860s, join Lady Gregory in the second thrilling installment of the Red Door Diaries that blends adventure, romance, and magic into an unforgettable read.

About the author

Ron Vitale is a fantasy and science fiction author. Influenced by the likes of Tolkien, Margaret Atwood, C. S. Lewis, and Philip Pullman, he has a Master’s degree in English Literature from Villanova University where he studied the works of Alice Walker and Margaret Atwood. For his thesis, he interpreted Walker’s and Atwood’s novels through a psychological Jungian approach by showing how the central female protagonists use storytelling as a means to heal themselves from trauma. He lives in a small town outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and keeps himself busy by writing his blog and on learning how to be a good father to his kids all while working on his next book.
