About this ebook

Thalia Lopez always follows the rules. Being a life-long good girl has its perks: she’s got a full scholarship to college and her choice of graduate programs, and she never has to worry about getting into trouble. It also means she’s a twenty-two-year-old virgin, but it’s not like that matters.

Of course the one time she steps out of line, she winds up locked in a bar bathroom. The men’s bathroom. With a total stranger.

When Caleb Loveless entered the men’s room, he wasn’t expecting to have to leave through the window. He really wasn’t expecting to be doing it with one of the prettiest girls he’s ever met. And when he asks her out on an impromptu date and she says yes?

It’s the best night he can remember, with the best kiss at the end. Of course he can’t wait to see her again, and the sooner the better. They exchange numbers. They make plans.

They see each other the next morning, in Calculus 101.

Turns out that Caleb is Professor Loveless, which makes college senior Thalia extremely off-limits.

But Thalia can’t forget the way that one heated kiss felt. And Caleb can’t pretend he’s not letting his fingers linger just a second too long when she turns in her homework.

What’s a girl to do when the one person she wants is the one she can’t have?

The Hookup Equation is the fourth book in the Loveless Brothers series, and can be read as a total standalone. It's for fans of high-heat, low-angst romantic comedies and anyone who's ever been hot for teacher. This one's got tons of forbidden steam, a high-stakes secret relationship, sibling banter, a heroine who really enjoys her first time, and a college setting that will make you feel like you're back on campus. There's an HEA, of course. (And yes, it bangs.)

This series is for fans of Fiona Cole, R.S. Grey, Meghan Quinn, Adriana Locke, and Kathryn Nolan.

I’m not a huge fan of professor/student stories but having read or listened to a few books by Roxie Noir I jumped in. There was plenty of passion and romance which narrators Tor Thom and Marcella Black brought to their performances as Caleb and Thalia. The banter between them was witty as both struggled with the attraction that sizzled between the. The narrators brought the story and characters to life with voices that were easy to listen too. Will they risk it all for a chance

Another Loveless brother charms his way to number one!! I do not know how it's possible, but every book I find myself saying 'this brother, this is the one I adore'. So, as I write my review for Caleb; the baby brother Loveless, the professor; I, right now, am saying he's currently in the lead as my favorite Loveless. He's bumped Levi to second place. Although Thalia is pretty awesome. And I haven't ranked the ladies. I really relate to her late blooming ways. (Wink, wink, nudge, nudge) Thalia finds herself inadvertently still a virgin and about to graduate college. Not that it's been a major concern. Thus the inadvertent part. But then a rash decision to use the men's room leads to her meeting Caleb... And a little adventure with a man she has sizzling chemistry with. Only to discover he's her professor the next day. Neither of them can resist the pull of their attraction to each other (and they do try). And unfortunately for them, despite trying to be discreet, (and they do try) others are not so concerned with what Caleb & Thalia actually feel or are doing. She knows her own mind. Does not need to be sheltered or protected. He is not a predator. They both beat themselves up enough for the problems their attraction may, does cause. They certainly don't need anyone else making decisions for them. He drops everything to help her when he barely knows her. Maybe not the wisest choice, but definitely the choice made with his heart before he knew what his heart was feeling. I love the Loveless family's interactions with each other and others. Their families and friends. I loved seeing Thalia and her siblings. I still want a Silas book!! Floved every single page. I adore this bookiverse.

I have loved every other book in this series but I can't help but feel like this one fell short. I can't lie the storyline was weird, I just couldn't get over feeling of it being creepy, the whole teacher and student dynamic and that sucked because I was so looking forward to Caleb's story. He came off creepy with no self control and she just came off as whiny and naive. I found myself skipping over all the hot and heavy scenes because it just felt gross. The whole book was just excuse after excuse for being a bad person. I get that she's not underage but it still just felt wrong the entire time. I will still finish the series because all the others were 5 stars.
