Melody Key
There's a lot less action in this series than I thought, but this isn't really an issue for me, though it might be for others. There are two major arcs in this volume, one of which has some action, but it's minimal compared to actual action stories. However, it is one of my favorite parts in this series so far. After a certain incident, Ryouma begins reflecting on his current life and starts trying to change, gaining some character development. This volume kind of ends on a weird note, but it continues directly into the next volume. I really enjoyed the extra story at the end and it seems that the extra stories are going to focus on what's happening on Earth, focusing on Tabuchi and the company, after Ryouma's death. Overall, I really enjoyed this volume and it's a great continuation of the first volume.
