Leopoldo Lugones (1874-1938) fue un intelectual argentino que se distinguió en numerosos ámbitos, como el de la escritura, el periodismo, la historia o la política. Fue uno de los máximos exponentes del modernismo hispanoamericano y el Día del Escritor en Argentina homenajea su nacimiento.
