About this eBook

In the first novel in the Breathless trilogy—now celebrating its 10th Anniversary—a man is about to have his fantasies come true with a woman who was once forbidden fruit, and is now ripe for the picking...

When Gabe Hamilton saw Mia Crestwell walk into the ballroom for his hotel’s grand opening, he knew he was going to hell for what he had planned. After all, Mia is his best friend’s little sister. Except she’s not so little anymore. And Gabe has waited a long time to act on his desires.

Gabe has starred in Mia’s fantasies more than once. So what if he’s fourteen years older? Mia knows he’s way out of her league, but her attraction has only grown stronger with time. She’s an adult now, and there’s no reason not to act on her most secret desires.

As Gabe pulls her into his provocative world, she realizes there’s a lot she doesn’t know about him or how exacting his demands can be. Their relationship is intense and obsessive, but as they cross the line from secret sexual odyssey to something deeper, their affair runs the risk of being exposed—and vulnerable to a betrayal far more intimate than either expected.

This story had some awesome sexy parts! However, the age thing threw me off a bit and the whole "contract" thing sounded a bit too familiar. On top of that I would have preferred the girl to not be such a weakling and the guy not be such a creep the entire time. All in all good read but not one of my personal favorites. Meh

This my least favorite of a great series. it's a good story but lacks continuity, beginning around chapter 17. It's supposed to be a dominant relationship but only takes part of that lifestyle and skews it oddly. Really it is all a bit messed up. in real life I'd tell her to break up and seek therapy because he's a prick. Also, there is really no basis for his issues/neuroses. The contradictions and sometimes juvenile actions prevented me for really enjoying the well written and sizzling intimate scenes. 🔥🔥🔥🔥

I've never read 50 shades (so maybe I'm biased)... I have, however, watched the movies. This book was similar, but not so aggressive with cringing pain, compared to the rather. It wrenches your heart strings, it's addictive, completely awe worthy. Recommend the read, I guarantee you'll read it again. 2nd book... I purchased before reading the summary because I assumed it was still about Gabe and Mia.. but it's about Jace falling in love with a homeless lady, it was cute and heart felt (more aggressive, but not enough to cringe thinking about it... all of the books are excessively hot, you'll wish any of them were you), but I'll only read it the once. almost done the 3rd one.. will only read this the once too... just felt like a cash grab, actually both 2 and 3 felt like cash grabs... I'm not going to say I was disappointed, it was just misleading... I thought Ash was going to have to fight to get the lady to fall in love with him, that's not how it turned out at all.. 5 star for book 1
