Story is catchy but something is going wrong with society when they make books trying to get females to view their captors or corrupt rich as objects to want or lust for or even idolize. This is what they want and they see others as property to be used and abused. You really want to put yourselves down for these criminals on top. Come on people dont sell yourselves by them what they want or put your souls at risk your all better than that. This is what happens when the wrong corrupt few have lots of money. Imagine how much better this world would be if it was the other way around.

Holy cow! That ending was just WOW! I am going to need book 2 ASAP!! Pretty pretty please. Can I have more Lachlan Mount sooner rather than later? The second I heard about Ruthless King, I knew it was going to be my new obsession. Meghan March did not disappoint. This book is incredibly addicting, smokin' hot and I kept craving more. I read Ruthless King so fast. I couldn't put it down. Darker and grittier than her other works, it was easy to lose yourself in the story. I loved it! Lachlan Mount radiates an aura of power and danger…and it's crazy HOT!! We got a glimpse of his capabilities in Beneath the Truth. That was just the tip of the iceberg. This man has his hand in everything in New Orleans. He's feared. He's ruthless. He's everything. Anything he wants he gets. What he wants is Keira Kilgore. Meghan March has given us another kickass and fierce heroine to admire. I love Keira's tenacity, and her refusal to roll over. She has a backbone, determination, and a strong will. Even when her world is crashing around her, she can't help but fight back. I can add her to my long list of favorite characters. This book ends with an explosive and unexpected twist of events. Meghan March sure knows how to write a cliffhanger. I can't wait to continue this story. I just know the next installment in this trilogy will blow my mind.
