Someone is killing journalists involved in bringing to light high-stakes cases. Jessie and her team will work under much pressure to find the culprit. At the same time, she keeps on being questioned by Homeland Security Agents regarding her research into her mother's death. Will she be able to solve both cases? Will her research into her mother's assassination lead to her father? I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series! I thank Ms. Dark for this ARC.

I enjoy the "hook " in the stories that make me want to read the next book. Unfortunately after the first book, the editing got worse. Enough to distract me from the story. The year 1864 is printed 18,64. Words misspelled, omitted and mix ups. That being said, I enjoy the progression and hook that kept me reading. I just hope any further books are edited better.

Once started you are caught up in the story. A winner for the author. Recommend the book
