When he expresses his doubt, Caption Verr goes wild. Though soft and sweet Billy Bud is famous among fellow sailors, he gets supremely insulted with the accusations put forth by John. His wrath upsets the environment at the ‘Indomitable.’ The book presents the story of these accusations and their frightening impact.
