It's the characters that truly make the story, their relationship standing out as the real star, without a bunch of unnecessary outside drama creeping into the mix, so you'll have to read it to see what I mean when I tell you how great it is. And for those that are like me and hate when novels are chopped to serialized bits, all ending on cliffhangers, I'm happy to say this book doesn't pull that. While it is the first book in the group, there's a full story arc, complete with a great ending. About the author

Although she is a native of Denmark, S.J. Hooks has always had a keen interest in the English language. She has a BA in English Literature and is close to finishing her MA in American Studies. As a student and a working mother of two special needs children, her days are busy.

At night, when she isn’t passed out on the couch, she’s in front of her computer, writing stories of love, humor, and passion—the best things in life.  Her dream is to build a career as a full-time author and give her children the life they deserve.
