About the author

M.T. SOMASHEKARA, Ph.D., is associated with the Department of Computer Science and Applications, Bangalore University, with more than 25 years of teaching experience at both UG and PG levels, he has authored three books 'Problem Solving with C', 'Object-Oriented Programming with C++' and 'Object-Oriented Programming with JAVA', published by PHI Learning Private Limited, Delhi. Besides, he has co-authored a book entitled 'Introduction to Linux and Shell Scripting', and also, he has authored a unique, motivational and directional book entitled 'The Journey – From Being a Reader to Becoming an Author', intended to teachers who aspire to become authors.

D.S. GURU, Ph.D., is Senior Professor of Computer Science at University of Mysore. He has been a fellow of BOYSCAST and a visiting research scientist at Michigan State University, USA. He has contributed 90+ journal articles and 260+ peer reviewed conference research papers at international levels. In addition, he has also co-authored three textbooks and co-edited 8 books.
