About the author

S. Anita Stauffer (1947-2007) served on the worship staffs of the Lutheran World Federation, Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, and Lutheran Church in America. She wrote several books on worship and served as the general editor of a series of worship and culture studies of the Lutheran World Federation.
