I'd read this book for the 3rd time. The 1st time, in a rush because I wanted to know the end of the story. 2nd time was a bit slower, to enjoy the overall plots and this 3rd time even slower as I connects the characters in this book with the others (how they were related in other series). I'd just finished Jo's Journey (for the 5th time) so was able to connect who was Katarina this time round. Heart of the Cats was a bit different than the 1st 2 books which deals with the present time from the get go. Overall, still a good story. Looking forward to Pallu/Heather story.

I fell in love with S.E Smith's books and as such, once again a very rewarding reading experience! This book contains all the elements to touch ones heart at all levels - from the laughter, through nailbiting suspense to the tears. Wonderful!
