Does this author even have an editor? His grammatical errors are out of control and the way he portrays the Roman military is outrageous. I was a huge fan of this series until this addition.

Great book! I love the behind the scenes look at the in workings of Caesar, Rome and of course Fronto and all the other players in this very interesting period in history.

Great read A very interesting topic of which i thoroughly enjoyed. the author transports you back in time to the roman period of ceaser. The only downside to this book in my opinion is that there's too many characters to remember. otherwise its a great book.
