Another successful example of this author's ability to create a fascinating story line. Tommie was captured as a child and abused for many years, by vile and evil Ash after he had her parents killed. Max is a cardiologist and at the call of his vile and evil mother, Taya who runs a criminal organisation. He is also Tommie's best friend and one night they both realise they want much more. Ash and Taya are working together and sex trafficking is the business of the day. Controlling Tommie and Max is the key, using fear and threats to loved ones. Both are dangerous and deadly, but they need to be stopped and FBI, Police have not yet managed to do it. Twists and turns, lies and deceit surround this couple and yet the grounding they share brings respect and contentment.
