खरा आदर्श विद्यार्थी हा विद्येचा एकनिष्ठ उपासक, स्वावलंबी, प्रसंग-परिस्थिती-सुखदु:ख शत्रू-मित्र यांच्याशी सुसंस्कृत मार्गाने मुकाबला करून त्यावर मात करणारा, स्वाध्यायी, स्थितप्रज्ञ, आत्मसंतुष्ट, ध्येयवादी, कर्तव्यपरायण, श्रमनिष्ठ नागरिकच असला पाहिजे.
बालकाळापासून वृद्धावस्थेपर्यंतच्या प्रत्येक अवस्थेत असा विद्यार्थी स्वत: बनून इतरांना खरे विद्यार्थी बनवण्याचे कर्तव्य कसे करावे.
