This is an excellent book that I enjoyed a lot. Sheridan a half witch, half wolf hybrid and bounty hunter meets Alpha wolf shifter Kane when she become involved with his sisters kidnap. The characters are great, well described and complex, the story is full of plots, suspicion and manoeuvring. A fated mate story where both characters have trust issues. Loved it. The story has A climax but not an ending and I look forward to continuing the story In the next books. Highly recommended. I rece

This book grabbed me from the start and wouldnt let me go till I finished it at 3am. Its a amazing introduction to a new shifter series. I loved the fact that it wasnt just girl meets boy and instantly they love each other. I really felt the relationship grow, it felt real. There is so much going on in this book and its all balanced perfectly. There's action, betrayal, a who Dun'it, and while they are trying to solve this mystery they are drawn together. Both leads have issues they have to get through which added to the emotional ride the author took us on. This is a great world to visit, and I can't wait to see what happens to the other characters in the book. I already bought and read the prequel and loved that too, but now I just have to wait for book two which features the brother... I cant wait. I will definitely be looking at other books by this author as its refreshing to find such a full rounded story. This is a captivating first book in the Dirigo series. It is emotional, action packed and well rounded. and written. This is a thoroughly enjoyable and interesting read. Kane and Sheridan have a story that had me on the edge of my seat.
