About the author

Sachin M. Vyavahare is an M.Phil in Mathematics from Shivaji University, Kolhapur (MH). He was a student of distinction throughout his education.

He is currently working as Senior Assistant Professor at Tolani Maritime Institute, Pune. He has also worked with BITS, Pilani as a guest faculty for its off-campus programme. He has more than ten years of teaching experience in the areas of Applied Mathematics, Statistics and Operation Research. He has participated in more than 20 National and International Conferences and Seminars and has published more than 10 research papers in various national and international journals.

V. K. Mangwani is a Ph.D in English from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore (MP). At present, he is Senior Assistant Professor at Tolani Maritime Institute, Pune. He has also worked with BITS, Pilani as a guest faculty for its off-campus programme. He has been teaching for more than nine years. He has participated in more than 10 National and International Conferences and Seminars.

Although his domain of teaching is communication skills, his interest in reasoning and problem-based learning led him to work for this book.
